The owner, Rob Barter, founded the original Bedrock Systems company while studying at York University in 1987. Originally specialising in designing and building Windows Applications for medical x-ray treatment machines and also their embedded control software.
Branching out to telecoms and voice messaging (Unified Messenger) for an international telecoms company and then into realtime Risk systems for an international bank. Rob spent a further 10 years developing, and project managing the build out of many new Global Risk systems.
The company has a total of 30+ years experience in Windows Application Development and embedded software design across multiple industries.
